DIANA MK3 is a 30 liters bookshelf frontal load bass reflex / solid wood horn loudspeaker system fully designed, hand crafted and manufactured in Italy by Royal Device with optimum design and finishing. The horn is a Royal Device product completely designed to reproduce full 2 – 20 KHz bandwidth at more than 100 dB efficiency together with a completely flat response without using any frontal phaser or phase alignment on the soft dome ¾" SEAS tweeter. The 8.5" woofer is another Royal Device product and has been specially custom designed for the Laura and Diana Royal Device loudspeaker systems. The Hi-horn is a completely custom design Royal Device product that together with the use of a soft dome SEAS tweeter reproduces full 2– 20 KHz bandwidth with more than 101 dB efficiency with a completely flat response without using a frontal phaser. The hi-cut of the horn (9.5 KHz) with no need of attenuation, makes the speaker a perfect balanced system avoiding any horn nasality. The choice of no crossover on the woofer together with a new frontal WF mechanical alignment (as LAURA MKII design ) and the Royal Device  custom technology for  woofer high break-ups reduction gives a perfect  matching to the HI-HORN  towards WF decay using a 24 dB slope HI-HORN filter in a phase coherent manner .  Woofer bandwidth rise up to 9.5 KHz @- 6 dB, for a full audio band direct radiation with no "midrange horn compression nasality". It delivers 98 dB efficiency together with high velocity and dynamic response. All components used are first class as the new generation Royal Device AudioCap PPFF custom made capacitors.
